The Eurovision Song Contest will be screened across the UK in Vue cinemas around the UK, and tickets are on sale now.
Ah, Eurovision. Bringer of ABBA, Brotherhood of Man, and Scooch. An event that’s rocketed in popularity in recent years, and is now heading back to the UK.
The iconic musical event will be held this time around in Liverpool at the Liverpool Arena. The UK last hosted in 1998 (in Birmingham, no less), after Katrina and the Waves triumphed at the 1997 event with ’Love Shine A Light’.
Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra won last year with the song Stefania, but the show will be hosted in the UK due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
The UK will be represented by artist Mae Muller, performing I Wrote A Song.
Vue cinemas has now announced too that it will screen the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on the 13th May.
