Martin Law’s Reputation will focus on a drug dealer who begins to question whether his old life is still what he wants. Take a look at the Reputation trailer below. 


Martin Law is making his feature directorial debut with Reputation, a gritty crime drama set in the fictional town of Dennings.

Reputation stars James Nelson-Joyce as a drug dealer who begins to have doubts about his lifestyle when Tommy (Kyle Rowe) returns from prison. The film’s website describes the film as “a psychological character study; an intimate look at loyalty, greed and power in Broken Britain.”

Olivia Frances Brown, Kru Lundy, Ross Thompson, Robyn Sass and Andrew Purcell round out the cast for Reputation. Jake Bradford-Sharp acts as the film’s composer while Daniel Llobera is behind the camera. Law wrote the film with Dean Gregson & Jordan Derbyshire.

Reputation is a completely independently produced film via Law’s production company Factory Noir and has been made with a modest budget. The film has been in the works for the better part of 10 years and is due to make its debut at the Spirit of Independence Film Festival in Sheffield this September.
