John Wick is getting a deluxe 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray edition for its 10th birthday, as Titans Of Cult comes back to life. More here.
The Titans Of Cult range of physical media releases had been quiet over the last year or so, but it’s slumbered back to life for the tenth birthday of the John Wick saga. The original, leanest John Wick film, starring Keanu Reeves of course, was released back in 2014, and for its tenth anniversary, a posh Titans Of Cult edition is being released.
As always, the drill is that you get the existing 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release, just bundled in a Steelbook case, and with some extra goodies too. In this particular case, those goodies are a unique pin, a cult stand and some collectable artcards as well.
The set is up for preorder now, with a release date of 19th May 2025. These are limited editions, as you’d expect, and they tend to go reasonably quickly. They don’t pay us for telling you this, sadly, and obviously we encourage them to do so. Sort code and bank account number available on request.
You can find the listing, and order yourself a copy, right here.
Finally, the synopsis for the collection reads as follows.
After a master assassin named John Wick (Keanu Reeves) marries, buries his guns, and retires from the game, his happy life fades when his wife gets sick and dies, leaving him a puppy named Daisy. Though a sad fate awaits Daisy, far sadder are the fates of the thugs who find themselves in the literal crosshairs of Daisy’s owner…the one they call the Baba Yaga.
The John Wick 10th Anniversary Titans of CultTM 4K UHD + Blu-rayTM celebrates the world’s most lethal assassin with a two-disc package as iconic as the man himself. Inside are discs styled like the tyres on Wick’s 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429; a unique pin designed as a golden Continental coin; an acrylic Cult Stand to display the original artwork by Matt Ryan Tobin; and four collectible art cards. Arranged together, the cards showcase the infamous gas station scene, but when viewed separately they depict the elements – Wick, Daisy, and the criminals fated to unleash Wick’s vengeance – that make that pivotal moment so memorably tense.
It can surely only be time and rights issues that stop Titans Of Cult offering us a Congo special edition next.
