His next film, however, sees him star opposite Euphoria's Sydney Sweeney in Anyone But You. The romcom heads to UK cinemas on 26th December. The synopsis, if you like these sorts of things, reads as follows:
Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell) look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold ā until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia. So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple.

Friends With Benefits and Easy A director Will Gluck helms the film. Anyone But You will mark his first romcom since 2014ās About Last Night. He also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Ilana Wolpert, from her original story. Wolpert has previously written on Disney+ show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
