Danny Boyle directs, Richard Curtis writes, and in Yesterday, the world has forgotten about The Beatles.

 

The veil has been pulled off the upcoming musical from director Danny Boyle and writer Richard Curtis. The film, that had been unnamed, is now in post-production pending its release this summer. And yesterday saw the first trailer for it being released, along with the title being announced.

The title is Yesterday, and has was expected, the film has something of a Beatles theme to it. It tells the story of a man who wakes up and discovers that everybody but him has forgotten the band.

The cast for the film is led by Lily James, Himesh Patel and Kate McKinnon, and the first trailer for the movie has now been released. It looks like this…

Yesterday will be in cinemas from June 28th of this year.
