The internet’s handsome dad has a very full diary at the moment, and it can be a struggle to keep up. Here’s what Pedro Pascal has upcoming

Pedro Pascal is one of Hollywood’s busiest stars at the moment, with eight films currently in pre-, mid- or post-production. We’re slightly worried whether he gets enough sleep. That’s before you consider his work on the TV side of things, leading the casts of both The Mandalorian and The Last Of Us – two of the biggest streaming hits of the last five years. In 2025 alone, Pascal is set to appear in four films and one TV show.

He’s also, we’re told, incredibly popular with certain segments of the internet. Putting our finest minds to work out a way to monetise this conundrum, we came up with a sure-fire method to overwhelm our servers with cold, hard clicks. In that sense, if you’re reading this, our ploy has failed. Try refreshing the page until the site breaks.

Anyway, in the sad event that filmstories.co.uk is still showing lovely articles, rather than printing money into our Christmas party fund, here’s a list of all Pedro Pascal’s upcoming films, in the order we expect them to be released in. Don’t say we don’t give the people what they want…

The Uninvited – 9th May

First up is The Uninvited, a comedy drama from director Nadia Conners. Elizabeth Reaser’s actress throws a party with her husband, but things get awkward when a stranger arrives at the house claiming it once belonged to her. Pascal plays Lucian, a Hollywood star, in this widely-praised critique of the movie industry.

Freaky Tales – 18th April

Freaky Tales, which hails from Captain Marvel directors Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, is already out in US cinemas, and comes to the UK this very week (before getting a digital release on 28th April.) The film is set in 1987 Oakland California where four stories interconnect. Pascal plays a character called Clint and that’s all we’re going to tell you so we don’t ruin anything.

Materialists – Summer 2025

Celine Song’s Past Lives was a treat, and her follow-up Materialists looks similarly tasty. Dakota Johnson’s matchmaker Lucy falls hard for Pascal’s Randy, a wealthy and handsome older man, while still harbouring complex feelings for her ex, John (Chris Evans). Just like Past Lives, Materialists seems to dig into some uncomfortable questions about love and connection, but we’re excited to dive in. The film’s scheduled for a 13th June release in the States, and is expected around the same time here.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps – 25th July 2025

Pascal is taking on one of the biggest Marvel roles there is; Reed Richards, aka Mr Fantastic. This summer’s Fantastic Four is set to take us back to the 1960s and show us the creation of Marvel’s first family. Pascal is teaming up with Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn, with whom he shared the screen in Gladiator II. It’s one of the highest profile roles of the actor’s career, and the film itself plays a huge part in Marvel trying to get back on track.

Eddington – 2025

Ari Aster has been keeping a low profile since the release of Beau Is Afraid, but the director’s new film is set to be released later in 2025 after a starry premiere at Cannes. We know Pascal plays Mayor Ted Garcia in the film, but little else is known about the plot. Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone and Austin Butler are also among the film’s cast and knowing Aster’s style, we’re in for a unique ride for sure.

Avengers: Doomsday – 1st May 2026

“Huh? How is Pascal in Avengers: Doomsday if Fantastic Four is set in the 60s?” No idea. Considering it’s Marvel, expect portals, variants and the most famous family in comic history being unfrozen like a bunch of Lycra-clad popsicles. Robert Downey Jr is making a grand return to the MCU by playing Doctor Doom, a major threat to all Marvel superheroes, Pascal included.

The Mandalorian & Grogu – 22nd May 2026

One of Pascal’s earliest major roles is making the leap onto the big screen. Pascal is set to reprise his role as Din Djarin, the titular Mandalorian, in Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian & Grogu. Again, we know little about what the film will be about, but we’re willing to bet Pascal will spend a lot more time with his helmet off than his small screen interpretation. After all, he’s a big enough star now that Disney is paying him the big bucks – and you don’t want to cover your main star’s face with those wages.

Avengers: Secret Wars – 7th May 2027

There’s little we know about Avengers: Secret Wars. We think there might be wars and they might be secret but, with Marvel’s recent proclivity to last-minute name-changing, there are no guarantees.

It was confirmed during Comic-Con that all of the main Fantastic Four cast would be appearing in the two Avengers films, but it’s unclear in what capacity. Infinity War and Endgame directors the Russo brothers are returning to direct, which will begin shooting in London sometime in 2026 ahead of that 2027 premiere date.
