This week’s film quiz features questions about 3D horror sequels, film awards, twin movie titles, and more!

John Krasinski’s cute imaginary friend comedy IF comes to cinemas this week, and we’ve written elsewhere about the potential to get it mixed up with Blumhouse’s similarly themed horror movie Imaginary. Frankly, you’re less likely to confuse it with If…., Lindsay Anderson’s 1968 satirical British drama even though they have basically the same title, but it’s got us thinking about twin movie titles again, in between all the other bits of film trivia.

As always, this is all just for fun, but please let us know how you did in the comments (scores out of 30 this week!) and give us any other lovely feedback. Once you’ve completed all three rounds, you’ll find a link to a separate post with the correct answers at the bottom of this post. No need to play solo either – feel free to confer with friends, imaginary or otherwise.

ROUND ONE – This Week In Movie History

This round is about UK cinema releases and general film history from this week in years past – we’ve given you the year at the start of each question to help out!
