Jack O’Connell has revealed his part in John Krasinski’s upcoming horror sequel A Quiet Place Part III. Read more about it below.
We’re still some time away from A Quiet Place Part III, but news is starting to trickle in about the film’s specifics. John Krasinski will return to direct and has also penned the script. Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, Millicent Simmonds and Cillian Murphy will all reprise their roles in the new sequels, but will be joined by fresh faces in their alien-infested world.
Jack O’Connell will be joining the franchise and the actor recently appeared at the Newport Beach Film Festival and revealed to Collider that he will be playing Murphy’s Emmett’s brother.
Murphy first appeared in 2020’s A Quiet Place Part II as Krasinski’s Lee’s old friend who has lost his wife and children, leaving him isolated, but he eventually helps Blunt’s Evelyn and her children.
“A Quiet Place was, that felt like family. It’s about family, obviously. Got John Krasinski and Emily Blunt involved, and Cillian and I play brothers. There was a real familial feel to that one. It was cool, man. But horror’s popping off. People are turning out for horror. So it’s great. Yeah, it’s amazing,” the actor revealed.
Katy O’Brian and Jason Clarke will also join the cast of A Quiet Place Part III which will release in cinemas 30th July 2027, having recently had to move its release date to make way for James Gunn’s Superman sequel.
Plot details are still being kept tightly under wraps, but hopefully we’ll get some more information soon.
