Ahead of its summer release on Disney+, here’s a new trailer for Alien: Earth, the incoming TV show…

We must admit, we’re really enjoying the promotional campaign for this summer’s Alien: Earth, the upcoming FX/Disney+ series which will bring the world of xenomorphs and questionable human behaviour to the small screen for the first time. We’ve already seen short trailers that gave us what looked like a sheep’s eye, then another preview that went full xenomorph POV. Now we get another quick glimpse of an exciting scene and a few other shots of the series beyond.

Alex Lawther, Essie Davis, Timothy Olyphant, Kit Young, Adarsh Gourav, David Rysdahl, Babou Ceesay, Lily Newmark, Adrian Edmondson, Sandra Yi Sencindiver and Moe Bar-El co-star in the series, which is set two years before the events of Alien.

As the title suggests, the long-running franchise is expected to give us a good look at Earth around the time when the first film is set. A simple logline for the upcoming show states that ‘a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth’ and this trailer appears to show us another brief section of that occurrence.

Here’s a synopsis for the series, that will arrive on Disney+ here in the UK. When we finally do hear of an exact release date, you can be sure we’ll let you know. Noah Hawley, the talented creative force behind TV’s Fargo and Legion is behind it.

When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat in FX’s highly anticipated TV series Alien: Earth from creator Noah Hawley.

Finally, that trailer…

We’ll bring you a firm release date when one emerges.
