UK drama Wait For Me has been released for home viewing, and it’s well worth checking out: details here.

Wait For Me won director Keith Farrell the Best Director award at the Manchester Film Festival a few months ago. And now the movie is available to watch at home.

The film follows “the story of Alison, an Irish prostitute trapped in a life of crime in Halifax, looking for a way out. When she meets Sam, a softly spoken damaged man, he teaches her life can be a beautiful thing if you meet it halfway. Together they go in search of the child Alison gave away years earlier. After reuniting with her estranged sister Karen and daughter Ruby, Alison realises she cannot escape her past and returns to Yorkshire to face her demons, both real and metaphorical”.

Farrell directed from a script by Bernard O’Toole. The cast includes Karen Hassan, Aaron Cobham, Sean McGinley, Elva Trill, Neil Bell, Rebecca Atkinson and Theo Ogundipe.

Wait For Me is now available to buy or rent on iTunes/Apple TV, Google Play, Amazon Prime, Sky Store, Virgin Media Store and Microsoft. You can find out more information om the film’s official website, where there are details of a few upcoming cinema screenings as well.
