Elliot Page headlines the newly-announced drama Close To You, here are the details.
Dominic Savage, together with Kate Winslet, this year won BAFTAs for Channel 4 one-off drama I Am Ruth. The upcoming film Close To You is next from Savage, and a detail or two has come to light.
Close To You was made via the same creative process as I Am Ruth, which has Savage and his lead actor, in this case Elliot Page, conceive and write the story.
The film follows “Sam (Page), who has a chance encounter with an old friend (Hillary Baack) on his way home to a dreaded family reunion that forces him to confront long-buried memories”.
