Alex Pettyfer makes his directorial debut with Back Roads, that’s heading to cinemas shortly.
Alex Pettyfer is an actor who, at one stage, looked like he was heading for movie stardom. But recently, he’s opted to take a different turn, and has been putting together his directorial debut.
The film is Back Roads, that he penned the script for along with Adrian Lynne. He takes one of the lead roles in the film too, that also includes Jennifer Morrison, Juliette Lewis and Nicola Peltz.
Back Roads tells of the character of Harley, played by Pettyer, whose mother ends up prison when she shoots and kills his abusive father. It’s then left ot Harley to try and keep the family together, not lead his three younger sisters.
Things take a turn from there that we’ve no intention of spoiling. And the film itself has now been picked up for a UK cinema release. The movie is set to land in cinemas from 15th November 2019, with Studio Soho Films distributing.
No trailer as of yet, but we’ll update when we get one.
