Bring It On DVD boxset set for November (but without Bring It On)

Get four of the six Bring It On films in an upcoming disc set, that seems to be missing the Bring It On film people are likely to want the most. Well, this is a bit odd. Following the success of the terrific original film, the Bring It On franchise took on a bit of a life of its own. Not on the big screen, but making the most of the-then burgeoning DVD market. As such, 2004 brought us Bring It On Again, in 2006 it was Bring It On: All Or Nothing, the following year along popped Bring It On: In It To Win It, and in 2009 it was the turn of Bring It On: Fight To The Finish. After an eight year break, 2017 brought us Bring It On: Worldwide Cheersmack, and next year it’s the turn of Bring It On: Halloween. None of the cast and barely any of the behind the scenes creatives returned for any of the follow-ups, and they keep on coming, to varying degrees of success. Which makes this new DVD boxset that’s popped up on the UK release schedules somewhat curious. For the set – entitled ‘The All Star Squad Pack’ – actually features four of the six films released to date, with the notable absence of the original Bring It On. You’re not getting Worldwide Cheersmack either. Instead, it’s a collection of the four straight to DVD sequels that came along in the 2000s. On the offchance that this might just make somebody’s Christmas, the set is available for preorder now at a cost of £25. It goes on sale in the UK from November 22nd.
