Romcom My Ex-Friend’s Wedding is going into production this summer, and the cast is now confirmed.
Kay Cannon, the screenwriter behind the hugely successful Pitch Perfect film, as well as being director of the underrated comedy Blockers, has set her next film.
My Ex-Friend’s Wedding will follow four childhood female friends who one day receive a drunken voicemail from their former best friend on the eve of her wedding day, confessing that she’s made a mistake. They go on a road trip to stop the wedding and rekindle their friendship.
Amanda Seyfried, Ariana DeBose, Chloe Fineman and Megan Stalter lead the cast.
Cannon directs and revised the script by Taylor Jenkins Reid and Ashley Rodger.
