Daniel Radcliffe and Daniel Webber star in Escape From Pretoria, that began filming this week.
The latest chapter in Daniel Radcliffe’s wonderfully eclectic movie career is a drama by the name of Escape From Pretoria, that’s the debut feature from director Francis Annan.
In the movie, Radcliffe stars opposite Daniel Webber. They’re taking on the real-life roles of Tim Jenkin and Stephen Lee, two white South African men who were imprisoned in the late 1978s. They were accused of being involved in anti-apartheid operations, and locked up in Pretoria Maximum Security Prison. But can they break out?
The film is based on the memoir by Jenkin, and production began in Australia this week. It looks to be a British-Australia co-production, and the first image from the movie has been released. This one, in fact…
No release date has been announced as of yet, we’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
