Deadpool and Wolverine join forces to defeat evil and crack jokes in the latest Marvel film. Watch the final Deadpool & Wolverine trailer here.
Deadpool & Wolverine is only days away at the time of writing and Marvel has released one final trailer for the upcoming superhero romp starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
Now, the trailer spoils one pretty major cameo so we’d recommend not clicking play on the trailer unless you want to know who it is. You might also want to avoid social media for about a week…
The new trailer also gives us a better look at Emma Corrin’s new villain, who is seen sticking their arms into a machine of some sort. There’s also a smoke dragon with purple eyes.
Take a look at the final Deadpool & Wolverine trailer below. The film is in cinemas on 25th July.
Our original story follows…
22nd April, 2024: It’s a quiet year for Marvel. 2023 was a bit of a disaster for the big superhero production house, with bad reviews, dodgy CGI, endless delays and cast problems and a prominent cast member being arrested, so it’s probably best they take a breather.
There is one Marvel film coming our way this year, though. That would be Deadpool & Wolverine, the third Deadpool film starring Ryan Reynolds as the Merc With A Mouth.
Take a look at the spanking new first trailer for the film.
Well, I don’t know about you, but that was exactly what I was expecting from a Deadpool trailer. Swearing, ass-kicking with a healthy side order of blood.
Usually, these trailers arrive with a plot synopsis of some sort, but if you look at the YouTube video, the trailer is only accompanied by the letters LFG, which also appear in the trailer. Our educated guess is that LFG is short for “Let’s Fucking Go”, but we could be wrong.
We found this plot synopsis on the United States Copyright Office website: In Marvel Studios “Deadpool & Wolverine”, Wade Wilson is confronted by the TVA, which pulls him from a seemingly quiet life and results in Deadpool being unleashed.
That doesn’t tell us much but it does tell us that the TVA (that’s the Time Variance Authority) is involved. The trailer mostly seems to show us Deadpool and Wolverine engaging in fights with each other, but presumably, the couple will kiss and make up to defeat some larger threat. Kind of like Godzilla and Kong now that we think about it…
Shawn Levy is on directing duties while the script has a total of five writers: Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells and Shawn Levy. Ryan Reynolds is naturally reprising his role as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine. Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, Rob Delaney and Morena Baccarin also join them.
Deadpool & Wolverine will arrive in UK cinemas the 26th July.
