Universal is set to give Let Him Go a wide release in the UK this December, with Diane Lane and Kevin Costner headlining the movie.
One of the umpteen films that was due for release over the summer, but had its unveiling curtailed by what could politely be described as ‘present circumstances’ is the movie Let Him Go. This is a new mix of drama and mystery from director Thomas Bezucha. He penned the screenplay too, adapting the novel by Larry Wilson.
Diane Lane, Kevin Costner and Lesley Manville headline this one, and it follows a retired sheriff and his wife, who have just lost their son, and decide to try and find their only grandson.
A trailer for the film has just landed, and what’s also now been confirmed is that the film will be coming to cinemas. In the US, Universal has set it for cinemas on November 6th, but the film has now popped up on UK schedules too. The film will be getting a wide UK release on December 4th.
Here’s that trailer…
More as we hear it.
