Emma Stone is heading to Britain, as filming on Cruella is set to kick off later this year.
Upcoming on the production line of Disney live action takes on its animated hits is another run at bringing the character of Cruella de Vil to the big screen.
The villainous character from 101 Dalmatians has already been the star of two hit live action movies a decade or two back, with Glenn Close took on the role. In the latest movie, Cruella, Emma Stone is going to step into her fur coat.
Craig Gillespie is set to direct the new film, with Kelly Marcel and Steve Zissis having penned the screenplay. And the plan is to shoot the bulk of the movie in the UK, with the feature currently in pre-production.
Emma Thompson is also set to appear in the movie, that’s due in cinemas in December 2020. More as we hear it…
