It’s official! Dogtanian is heading to UK cinemas, and the film will be getting a release in June – more details this way.
It’s official, and if you’ve been following our reporting of this story over the last year or so you’ll already know we’re on the excited side. The big screen take on the classic 80s animated series Dogtanian & The Three Muskehounds has been secured for UK cinemas release. And what’s more, it’s only two weeks away.
We put the film on the cover of our magazine just before Christmas, and explored just how the creative team had veered close to the source material – right through to keeping the theme tune in tact.
Now we learn that Altitude has secured the UK distribution. The film will be heading into UK cinemas on Friday June 25th 2021, possibly with preview screenings the weekend before as well. Of course, this is all subject to change in current circumstances, but fingers crossed it sticks on the schedule.
UPDATE: Here’s the brand new UK trailer for the film! They did indeed keep the theme tune…
