Elf, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story are all heading to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK: more details here.
Warner Bros appears to be bringing a bunch of festive favourites from its archives to the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray physical disc format in the UK this winter. We’re
First up then, there’s National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo. The 1989 comedy – crikey, it’s nearly 35 years old – remains a seasonal favourite, and the 4K disc hits on November 7th. You can find more information on that one, and order a copy, here.
On the same day, you can also pick up the much-loved Elf, starring Will Ferrell. That arrives on the format with a 4K disc and a Blu-ray in the box, and a host of extras as well. Details on that one can be found here.
Then there’s a film that’s never seen to quite catch on in the same way in the UK, but feel free to prove me wrong: A Christmas Story. Still, that’s getting the 4K disc treatment too – also on November 7th – and you can find out more about that release here.
All of them are now up for preorder.
UPDATE: You can add The Polar Express to the list too. More on that here.
