Chris Hemsworth is back as Mr Rake as work is underway on Netflix’s Extraction 2: more on the movie right here.
Before Red Notice came along and took its headlines, one of Netflix’s biggest action movie successes to date was Extraction. This was – and still is – the non-stop action film from director Sam Hargrave, that starred Chris Hemsworth as a man called Tyler Rake. For my money, he was no Cameron Poe, but the viewing numbers were through the roof, and talk quickly began of a sequel.
Well, we’re getting one, and this time Tyler Rake will be heading off on a new adventure, penned by Joe Russo (who produces alongside his brother, Anthony). And we now learn from Sam Hargrave, via the elixir of social media, that Extraction 2 is now underway. He’s in the snow in Prague, and has confirmed that filming has commenced.
But don’t take our word for it…
