Movie Geek Live is coming to Birmingham, London and Stockport, as Simon Brew’s live film show looks set for more venues.
As well as podcasts and magazines, Film Stories also hosts live shows around the country. Entitled Movie Geek Live, the shows are a film conversation evening, with 90 minutes of chatter about the movies. It can get a bit nerdy, in truth.
It’s all hosted by Simon, host of the award-winning and also award-losing Film Stories podcast.
Within that 90 minutes you can expect:
- Filmmaking guests
- Terrible jokes
- A dive into the current state of movies
- Lots of clips
- And a game at the end, with some pretty awful prizes
By popular demand, Movie Geek Live is returning to Birmingham and London over the coming months. And we’re delighted to be taking to the show to Stockport in May as well, with more dates to be announced.
