Frozen 2 arrives on disc in the UK in March – and if you get the Blu-ray version, you’re getting a lot of extras.
Critically, it might not have measured up to the first film – most notably demonstrated by its omission from the Oscar nomination list for Best Animated Feature – but as Edmund Blackadder once said, you can’t argue with the box office. Frozen II is officially the highest grossing animated movie of all time, with a take at the time of writing of a mere $1.4bn.
As such, hefty sales are expected when the film lands on home formats, and it’s up for preorder now with a release date of March 30th.
The film is arriving on digital download, DVD, Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray and Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray. If you want the extra features though, you’re going to have to stump up for the Blu-ray or 4K versions of the film. If you choose to do that, here are the extra goodies you’ll be getting for your cash:
- Sing-Along (Version of the Movie)
- Song Selection
- Outtakes
- Did You Know???
- The Spirits of Frozen 2
- Scoring A Sequel
- Deleted Scenes (with Introductions by Directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck)
- Deleted Songs (with Introductions by Directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck)
- Gale Tests (with individual introductions by directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck)
- “Into The Unknown” in 29 Languages (MLC reel)
- “Lost in the Woods (Weezer Version)” Performed by Weezer
- “Into the Unknown (Panic! At The Disco Version)” Performed by Panic! At The Disco Version
