Awards season is well and truly underway, and now the full list of Oscar nominees for the 95th Academy Awards has been announced.

This year’s Oscars ceremony is taking place on 12th March, and now we have a list of the nominees. Much like the BAFTA nominations that were announced last week, Everything Everywhere All At Once, The Banshees Of Inisherin and All Quiet On The Western Front are the films that have been nominated in the most categories.

However, this time it’s Everything Everywhere leading the way, with nominations for Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Jamie Lee Curtis and Stephanie Hsu (who was left out of the nominations most of the major awarding bodies). It’s also up for Best Picture, as well as Best Director, costume design, editing, original song, original score and original screenplay. An impressive 11 categories.

Once again, Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Barry Keoghan and Kerry Condon have picked up nominations for their performances in The Banshees Of Inisherin. It’s also nominated for Best Picture, director, editing, original screenplay, production design and original score.

There are some lovely surprises thrown into the mix, too. Paul Mescal has been very deservingly nominated for his leading role in Charlotte Wells’ drama Aftersun – although we’d like to have seen the film in the Best Picture category, too. In terms of the Best Actress race, Andrea Riseborough has emerged as a surprise candidate for the lesser-known drama To Leslie. Ana de Armas also has a nod for the controversial Blonde.

Spielberg’s The Fabelmans seems to have been better received by the Academy than elsewhere, with a Best Picture nomination and Michelle Williams up for Best Actress.

Here’s the full list of nominations:
