Whenever you see Gina McKee’s name on a project, there’s a good chance you’re in safe hands. With standout performances in the likes of Notting Hill, Line Of Duty and Women Talking Dirty, McKee is now due to star in comedy A Grand Romantic Gesture.
The plot will follow McKee’s character as she loses her job and, instead of completing a course in gourmet cooking s suggested by her husband and daughter, instead signs up to a drama class, where she is cast as Juliet and must wrestle with the feelings she develops for her Romeo.
McKee stars opposite Douglas Hodge, Derry Girls star Dylan Llewellyn and Rob Stewart.
