James Ivory is set to produce Roselli’s Way, a biopic of Jimmy Roselli, and here are the first details.

James Ivory, in conjunction with Merchant Ivory Productions, has been responsible for some of the best films of the era. From A Room With A View and Howard’s End to The Remains of the Day right up to 2017’s Call Me By Your Name, the company is synonymous with success.

Now, Ivory is heading back on set to produce Roselli’s Way, a biopic of crooner Jimmy Roselli, a contemporary of singers like Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett. He grew up a few houses down from Sinatra, and developed a voice that some considered superior, but he never got the same level of acclaim or success. The film is set to follow a day in his life, as he prepares for the most important concert of his career.

Ivory will produce from a screenplay by Ronin writer J.D. Zeik.
