Destry Allyn Spielberg is making her feature directorial debut with Four Assassins (And A Funeral), more details here.
As Steven Spielberg’s 34th film The Fabelmans hits UK cinemas in January, we now have news that his daughter – Destry Allyn Spielberg – is following in her father’s footsteps by making her feature directorial debut (she previously drew acclaim for directing short film Come With Me The Right Way)
Four Assassins (And A Funeral) is described as “a cross between The Kingsman meets Knives Out meets Succession”. Colour us intrigued.
The script, written by Ryan Hooper, was on the Black List, the industry’s ranking of the best as yet unproduced screenplays. Thunder Road Pictures will produce the movie.
Production is scheduled to begin in the UK next year, with casting currently underway. We’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
