Jason Statham’s next action movie has a confirmed UK release date – The Beekeeper is coming to cinemas on 12th January 2024.
Directed by David Ayer and written by Expend4bles’ Kurt Wimmer, The Beekeeper is set to arrive in UK cinemas in January. We’ve just seen him fight sharks in Meg 2: The Trench, and he’ll return as part of an ensemble in the aforementioned Expend4bles next month, but this latest film is intriguing.
It’s a real shame that Statham isn’t really a beekeeper in this. Instead, Beekeepers is a clandestine organisation which Statham’s character used to work for. All we know about this character is that he’s on a quest for vengeance.
Statham takes on a producer role as well as starring in the movie. He’s joined by Jeremy Irons, Emmy Raver-Lampman and Josh Hutcherson. MGM holds the US rights to the film, with Studiocanal bringing the action flick to the UK.
