Two upcoming Blu-ray releases promise to be of real interest to fans of film scores – more details right this way.
A pair of the finest screen composers of all time are the subjects of upcoming new concert Blu-ray releases.
Due out in February next year is John Williams – Live In Vienna, a concert which saw him working with the Wiener Philharmoniker Orchestra to bring to life a mix of his many loved pieces of film music. Further details of the release have yet to be confirmed, but you can find out a little more about it – and preorder a copy – right here.
And then the late, great Ennio Morricone’s work is getting a fresh airing on Blu-ray too this side of Christmas. The Morricone Conducts Morricone concert has been remastered and digitally restored for the format, and will be getting a DVD and Blu-ray release on December 18th.
More information on that one, and preorder details are here.
We’ll keep you posted if we find any more such releases on the calendar…
