The cast for Rian Johnsonās super sleuth sequel Knives Out 2 continues to grow, with Kate Hudson the latest addition.
Another day, another casting announcement for the planned sequel to Knives Out. The original of course was a hugely successful whodunnit, directed by Rian Johnson and starring Daniel Craig as super sleuth extraordinaire, Benoit Blanc. We know that Craig will be reprising his role as Blanc in the sequel, indeed, it was one of Netflixās key condition when it agreed to purchase the rights to two sequels for a reported (and eye-watering) $400m.
Now, the latest star to join Craig in the ensemble cast is Almost Famousā Kate Hudson, who will next be seen starring opposite Octavia Spencer in the Apple TV+ series, Truth Be Told. Hudson joins Kathryn Hahn, Dave Bautista, Janelle Monae, Leslie Odom Jr. and Edward Norton in an increasingly impressive line-up.
Will there be more names? We certainly hope so. The film is set to shoot this summer in Greece so itāll be a good while before we get to see it, but weāre terribly excited anyway. Weāll bring you more news on the Knives Out sequel as we hear it.
