Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo’s BBC Four show returns this Friday, and details as to what’s in store have been released.
We’re already approaching the half way point for the first Wittertainment television series, Kermode & Mayo’s Home Entertainment Service. The show has been going out on Friday nights on BBC Four from 8.30pm each week. And you can catch the two episodes thus far on the BBC iPlayer service.
Details have now been released of the third episode, that’s set for this coming Friday. And here’s what’s in store, courtesy of the official BBC blurb…
Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo help viewers navigate the wonderful, yet confusing, world of 21st-century home entertainment.
Up for discussion is Netflix series Space Force, starring Steve Carrell and Lisa Kudrow, as well as the hotly anticipated sci-fi thriller The Vast of Night, an Amazon Studios release. They also hear about what the nation has been watching at home and round up the best (and worst) of the rest of streaming culture across movies and premium television.
The series runs for six weeks in all. Here’s hoping for a series two commission in due course.
