The Kingsman series’ star, Taron Egerton, has revealed that Kingsman 3 is looking to enter production in 2023.
Taron Egerton has already been in the news this week, revealing that he’s had discussions with MCU boss, Kevin Feige about taking on the role of Wolverine for Marvel Studios. Now the Rocketman actor has let loose another interesting nugget, suggesting that the third instalment of the popular Kingsman series could shoot next year.
Whilst admitting to being ‘a humble pawn in the equation’ whilst chatting on the The Jess Cagle Podcast with Julia Cunningham, Egerton did say that “my understanding is that we are to be shooting the third instalment in my saga I believe next year. But you know, don’t listen to what I say because I don’t really know. You know, they’re grown up decisions.”
So take it with a pinch of salt, but it looks like we might be getting what will likely be the final part of the mainline Kingsman story late next year, or perhaps sometime in 2024, most likely the latter. Although that timeline might be further complicated if Kevin Feige comes calling….
