Kiss biopic Shout It Out Loud is due for release in 2024, according to band manager Doc McGhee. More details here.

It seems as if we’re in for some Crazy Crazy Nights in 2024, as Kiss biopic Shout It Out Loud will be released next year.

KISS are no strangers to cinema, having appeared as themselves in projects as diverse as their own 1979 television film KISS Meets The Phantom Of The Park to Detroit Rock City and Scooby-Doo! and KISS: Rock And Roll Mystery.

Netflix acquired the rights to Shout It Out Loud in 2021. They previously produced Motley Crue biopic The Dirt, the success of which led to renewed interest in the band, which in turn led to them agreeing to tour again. Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales director Joachim Rønning is behind the camera, working from a screenplay by Ole Sanders. Casting has not yet been announced, but guitarist Paul Stanley and frontman Gene Simmons are heavily involved in the production.

The film will focus on “the embryonic years of the band”. Casting has not yet begun. Kiss begin what is billed as their final tour of the UK in June.
