The latest American Pie movie, going by the name Girl’s Rules, is coming to DVD in this May – more details here.
In the end, last Christmas saw a very quiet return for the American Pie series of films, as Universal decided to resurrect the line of straight-to-DVD spin-offs that it began in the 2000s. The resultant film, American Pie: Girl’s Rules has thus far not been an awards season contender, and was released on video on demand service a few months back.
For those who prefer physical media though, the film is now getting a disc release in the UK. Not through Universal, interestingly, with Dazzler Media picking up the movie. It’s popping it out at a £6.99 price tag at the time of writing, with a release date marked for May 17th 2021. That’s the day when cinemas are due to open again in England, so cause for a double celebration there.
