It’s that time of the year again. London will be overcome with film nerds for the BFI London Film Festival, the country’s biggest film festival, also known more friendly as LFF. The programme is now live and you can take a look here, but if you’re not situated in London, not to worry.

Like in previous years, LFF will spread its wings across the country rather than stick to just the capital.

Here’s a list of all the participating cinemas around the UK:

  • Broadway Cinema, Nottingham
  • Chapter, Cardiff
  • Glasgow Film Theatre
  • Filmhouse, Edinburgh
  • HOME, Manchester
  • Midlands Arts Centre, Birmingham
  • Queen’s Film Theatre, Belfast
  • Showroom Cinema, Sheffield
  • Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle upon Tyne
  • Watershed, Bristol

We see a few familiar spots there! There’s also a list of what films will be screened at these venues. They seem to mostly be the festival’s gala screening films, but some excellent choices there, such as Danny Boyle’s Ink, Jesse Eisenberg’s latest directorial effort and Fjord, this year’s Palme D’Or winner.

Take a look at the full list of films HERE

Tickets are going on sale on the 17th September, or earlier if you’re a BFI Member or Patron, giving you a couple of weeks from the publication of this article to plan your visit. If you are in London and reading this story, you can find the London venues and timetables on the website, too.

LFF will run from the 7th-18th October across London and the UK.
