London. 20th April 2023. Our Movie Geek Live show is returning. And we’re thrilled to announce our first special guest.
On Thursday April 20th, we bring our Movie Geek Live show back to King’s Place in London, by popular demand. It’s a 90 minute show, hosted by Simon, where he nerds on about films, gives away terrible prizes, and interviews guests from the world of film. A fun night for movie fans.
And we’re thrilled to announce the first guest for the April 2023 London show.
It is this man…
You may not immediately be familiar with him, or with the name Graham V Hartstone. A triple-Oscar nominee, his work as a sound engineer at Pinewood Studios saw him notch up over 200 film credits. And heck, does he have some stories.
Here’s just a flavour of the films he’s worked on:
Superman: The Movie, Blade Runner, Aliens, Moonraker, Clash Of The Titans, Eyes Wide Shut, GoldenEye, Hellraiser, Thelma & Louise, Santa Claus: The Movie, Who Dares Wins, assorted Carry On films, Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down, it gets to the point in this stage in the incredible list that it’s just worth searching him on IMDB.
He’s worked with Kubrick, Cameron, Lean, Almodovar and Ridley Scott, amongst many others.
He has wonderful stories.
And you’ll be able to see him live and in person as part of the Movie Geek Live show.
