Nicolas Cage’s next two films are both arriving in April

Get ready for a double dose of Nicolas Cage this coming April, with both Renfield and The Retirement Plan all set for release. We’re already one Nicolas Cage film into 2023, with his first western – The Old Way – released to okay-ish reviews but the rightly regular Cage praise. Due to the fact that Cage’s output remains on the prolific side, and also due to a confluence of circumstances, this entirely necessary news story is now alerting to you to the fact that April brings us double Cage. The higher profile of the two projects is perhaps the best known, his return to blockbuster filmmaking with Renfield. This is due in UK cinemas on April 14^th, with Cage starring alongside Nicholas Hoult and Awkwafina in a Dracula-ish tale. But hang on! Then Cage is co-starring with Ashley Greene and Ron Perlman in a film that’s heading to home formats, going by the name of The Retirement Plan. Cage stars as a retired beach bum in the Cayman Islands, and, well, that’ll do.
