Director Noah Baumbach has signed a deal to publish his memoir, itās been revealed: more here.
Noah Baumbach is one of those filmmakers who carved out a career exactly on their own terms, making a series of indie features before winning the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for The Squid And The Whale. Since then, he has become known for his collaborations with Greta Gerwig, to whom he is now married, and for co-writing both The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou and Fantastic Mr Fox with Wes Anderson.
And heās inked a deal to write his autobiography, itās been revealed.
Specific details about the memoir, which will be published by John Murray in the UK, are being kept under wraps, but it is said to chronicle his ālife and career through key experiences and his relationship with cinemaā.
Baumbach co-wrote Greta Gerwigās Barbie, which is released on the 21st July. When we get a release date for his book, weāll pass the information on.
