The UK box office hit Operation Mincemeat is heading to the DVD and Blu-ray formats: more on the release here. Originally set for release in January, but then moved very late in the day, was the wartime thriller Operation Mincemeat. Headlined by Colin Firth, Matthew Macfadyen and Kelly MacDonald, the film is an adaptation of Ben McIntyre’s book, with Shakespeare In Love director John Madden calling the shots on it. And it turned out to be a box office success in the UK too, earning a fair few quid and notching up good reviews as well. Now, the film’s about to make the leap to home formats, with Warner Bros scheduled the movie for release on DVD and Blu-ray (no 4K disc for this one). It’s earmarked it on the schedule for July 4th 2022, and the film is available for preorder now. Extra features? Good question, and none appear to be listed thus far. But keep an eye on the product page and that may change. You can find it here, and you can order a copy from there too.
