The thriller Fall takes the single location film to new heights: here’s the trailer for the upcoming movie. Single location thrillers are always a glorious prospect for any writer or director. The challenge of creating drama, ratcheting up the tension with only minimal actors and a space that can vary from 2003’s Phone Booth to Ryan Reynolds’ dizzyingly claustrophobic 2010 thriller Buried. Now, director Scott Mann, who made the entertaining 2009 martial arts actioner The Tournament and 2015’s Dave Bautista vehicle Final Score, has set himself the ultimate challenge – trapping his characters on the precipice of a tiny platform hundreds of meters in the air. The script for this one has been penned by Mann and his regular collaborator Jonathan Frank. The official synopsis reads: “A fast drop and a sudden stop await Becky and Hunter  as they find themselves trapped 2,000 feet up an abandoned radio tower in the desert. Highly trained and resourceful, these climbers marking the tragic passing of a friend were not ready for every eventuality. A series of unfortunate events see their gear and supplies taken from them and as temperatures rise and vultures begin to circle, the chance of survival begins to fall rapidly.” Shazam star Grace Fulton and Halloween's Virginia Gardner star as Becky and Hunter respectively. The film will be released in the UK via Signature Entertainment on 19th August 2022.
