Tickets for a live screening of Dirty Dancing go on sale, ranging from £29.50 to £75.
In conjunction with Showcase Cinemas and Luna Cinema, the duo of Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuinness have been hired to headline four outdoor cinema screening events.
On August 16th and 17th at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire, and on August 30th and 31st at Tatton Park in Cheshire, the pair will be hosting outdoor screenings of Dirty Dancing.
There’s a plot of sorts, too. The pair will be imagining themselves running a video shop, it says here, ‘where they will draw on movies from the decade of shoulder pads and spandex’.
This is all under the MovieFest banner, and it sounds like more events are planned if these initial screenings are a success. Audiences will get not just the screening of the film, but we’re also promised that each event will ‘involve a special twist’, where McGuinness and Lemon will return to the stage for ‘a surprise finale and post-screening party’.
Tickets for both venues start at £29.50, with premium and VIP tickets available too. The top-priced ticket, the VIP option, costs £75, and includes a special recliner seat in a prime position, fast track queuing to the screening and the bar, and a meet and greet with Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuinness.
Tickets are on sale now.
