Arrow confirms long-awaited 4K disc sets of The Wolf Of Wall Street and Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves in the UK – details here.
Honestly. You take a few days off, and in that time, two films long quietly rumoured for release on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format get announced. Should go away more often.
Arrow, then. The fine purveyor of catalogue physical media titles has confirmed the release of both The Wolf Of Wall Street and Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK for the first time (well, for the first time in the world in the case of Robin Hood).
Both are arriving in rather spanky looking deluxe sets.
In order of how quickly I preordered them, Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves lands on UHD from November 28th in a limited edition set with posh artwork, both cuts of the film in 4K, a 60 page book that includes no words from me, a new making of feature, and a bunch of legacy commentaries and vintage extras. You can find that here.
Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf Of Wall Street meanwhile also includes a 60-page book, as well as a host of new extras and a new commentary track. Archive features are held over too on top of fresh interviews a new introduction. You can find that here.
Both are up for preorder now. I’m looking for a bit of overtime to pay off my preorders…
