Rocky, Rocky II, Rocky III and Rocky IV (the best!) are all coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK: more details here.
Stand by for the first major catalogue 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray releases in the UK for 2023, with confirmation that the original Rocky saga is coming to the format.
This is all around the release of the incoming Creed III, and Warner Home Video is marking this with the 4K debuts of the first four films in the Rocky saga. Rumours persist that Sylvester Stallone is working on new cuts of Rocky V and Rocky Balboa which may explain their absence (hopefully he makes a better job of those than the re-do of the peerless Rocky IV, that managed to suck 80% of the fun out of the film).
From February 27th then, you’ll be able to get a boxset of the first four films, and then over the course of a few weeks, be able to buy the films individually as well. Steelbooks are being made available of each of the movies.
Here’s then what’s coming and when. Click on any of the links to get more information, and order a copy too.

Note that Rocky IV will include both cuts of the film, we understand. It’s still scandalous that Criterion never did a version of that particularly movie…
