The National Theatre is making its acclaimed production of Antony & Cleopatra – previously beamed to cinemas – available for free from tonight. The National Theatre At Home programme launched just over a month ago now, with the promise of bringing a filmed production – that previously had been beamed to cinemas – available to us for free via its YouTube channel. Originally, the announcement of the programme took things through until the end of April. But with lockdown in the UK continuing for the time being, that schedule has been extended. As such, tonight, you can see the National Theatre production of William Shakespeare’s Antony & Cleopatra, free of charge. The cast is led by Sophie Okonedo and Ralph Fiennes, and you’ll be able to watch the production from 7pm tonight. It’ll then be available for seven days, before it’s removed from the channel. The production will appear in the window below, or you can click through to go direct to the YouTube channel itself. As always, the National Theatre provides a full cast list, that you can access here, and a learning resource pack, here. — Thank you for visiting! If you’d like to support our attempts to make a non-clickbaity movie website: Become a Patron here.
