William Fichtner is among the actors joining Beef season 2 at Netflix, though we still donāt have a release date.
Itās been almost a year since we heard big news regarding another season of Beef, the Netflix drama about a petty squabble that spirals wildly out of control across its ten episodes. Stephen Yeun and Ali Wong led the cast of the first season, which was both critically and commercially successful. If the show hasnāt yet made it from your watchlist to your eyeballs, itās well worth your time.
Led by showrunner Lee Sung Jin, Beef season 2 will focus on an entirely different conflict with completely different characters. Jin has managed to snag a formidable leading quartet: Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac, Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny.
Thatās quite an ensemble, but TV Line is now reporting that William Fichtner, Mikaela Hoover, Seoyeon Jang and K-Pop star BM have also joined the cast. Season 2 is apparently set in āthe world of elites at a country club for the ultra-rich.ā

Given that we know weāre getting the next season of Mike Whiteās The White Lotus next month, at least we can rest easy knowing weāre getting at least one tense drama set in a luxurious setting this year. Hopefully, Beef season 2 will arrive later this year and bookend 2025 in a similar fashion.
Beef was set to go before cameras last year and production on the show is still ongoing. As yet, we still donāt have a release date. Thereās a chance it could appear on Netflix later this year, although it could equally slip into 2026.
