William Fichtner is among the actors joining Beef season 2 at Netflix, though we still donā€™t have a release date.

Itā€™s been almost a year since we heard big news regarding another season of Beef, the Netflix drama about a petty squabble that spirals wildly out of control across its ten episodes. Stephen Yeun and Ali Wong led the cast of the first season, which was both critically and commercially successful. If the show hasnā€™t yet made it from your watchlist to your eyeballs, itā€™s well worth your time.

Led by showrunner Lee Sung Jin, Beef season 2 will focus on an entirely different conflict with completely different characters. Jin has managed to snag a formidable leading quartet: Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac, Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny.

Thatā€™s quite an ensemble, but TV Line is now reporting that William Fichtner, Mikaela Hoover, Seoyeon Jang and K-Pop star BM have also joined the cast. Season 2 is apparently set in ā€˜the world of elites at a country club for the ultra-rich.ā€™

Given that we know weā€™re getting the next season of Mike Whiteā€™s The White Lotus next month, at least we can rest easy knowing weā€™re getting at least one tense drama set in a luxurious setting this year. Hopefully, Beef season 2 will arrive later this year and bookend 2025 in a similar fashion.

Beef was set to go before cameras last year and production on the show is still ongoing. As yet, we still donā€™t have a release date. Thereā€™s a chance it could appear on Netflix later this year, although it could equally slip into 2026.

Weā€™ll bring you more Beef news as we hear it.
