The UK physical media release of Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day is confirmed for September 2026. With extra features too!
The return of Steven Spielberg to high summer science fiction was marked just a couple of months back with the release of Disclosure Day. You more than likely know this, but also, you more than likely know that the search engine algorithm requires me to prattle on longer than necessary. Sigh.
Ah sod it, let’s get to the point. Disclosure Day, already available via digital premium video on demand services, is getting – yay! – a full physical media release.
In the UK, the release date is set for 28th September 2026, which looks to be a week or two after the US equivalent.

And – it’s true – there’s a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Steelbook that’s popped up here as well.
All of these are now official, and awaiting the attention of your wallet/purse/credit card/shoplifting habit.
There are special features on the disc as well, although you’re only getting these on the Blu-ray and 4K disc variants. Specifically, ‘Encountering the Unknown: Inside Disclosure Day’, which promises to tell some of the filmmaking secrets and inspirations behind the film. Then there’s a Spielberg and John Williams featurette. Couldn’t tell you how long any of these are, just that they exist.
As per usual, you ain’t getting a Steven Spielberg commentary track, but getting any extra features feels unusual in 2026.
