Less than a month before the finished game releases, Street Fighter 6 is getting another ā presumably final ā open beta phase.
Announced on Capcomās official Street Fighter Twitter account last night, the open beta will run from 19 to 21 May, and will feature āthe same content as the closed beta test conducted in December 2022,ā per the Street Fighter 6 website.
This means youāll get access to the Battle Hub and a broad range of its features, including ranked and casual matches, open tournaments, training mode and daily challenges.

Thereāll be eight characters unlocked, too: Luke, Jamie, Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, Kimberly, Juri and Ken. Players will be able to create their own character, but will only be able to do so once during the beta phase.
The betaās open to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC users, and you wonāt need to be subscribed to PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold to take part in the beta ā will you will need to be a member of one of those platforms to play the full gameās online modes on console once itās launched.
Capcom writes that the latest open beta phase is back due to popular demand (āSo many people sent a request during the recent closed beta testā), though of course the testing has a practical purpose, too, with feedback and data from the latest phase used to fine-tune character balance in the finished version of the game.
Based on the hands-on time with Street Fighter 6 so far, the gameās shaping up to be a new high-point for the series, with a superbly-balanced competitive mode that really comes to life in live, in-person settings, and a single-player campaign that has real RPG-like depth.
You can sign up for the Street Fighter 6 open beta over on Capcomās website. The finished game launches on 2 June for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
