Taylor Swift’s record breaking Eras Tour concert film will stream on Disney+ from the 14th March – here’s the trailer.

It’s a good time to be a Swiftie. The superstar songstar recently won the Album of the Year Grammy Award for her 2022 album Midnights, and at the ceremony she announced that her new album would be called The Tortured Poets Department. It will be released on 19th April and you can pre-order a copy from Swift’s official store.

Her Eras tour is soldiering on, visiting the UK later this year.

However, she gave us a heads up on the setlist by releasing The Eras Tour as a concert film. Directed by Sam Wrench, the film was produced and released without studio involvement, and currently stands as the highest grossing concert film of all time, with box office takings of over $261m worldwide.

Recently released to rent for a whopping £15.99 on digital platforms, our wallets can now breathe a collective sigh of relief, as it has now been confirmed that The Eras Tour will stream on Disney+ from 14th March, a day earlier than expected.

Not only that, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) will also include five additional acoustic songs, which will be different from the five new songs which were made available on the extended version released on digital platforms.

A full list has not been released, but we do know that they will include Cardigan from her 2020 Folklore album and Maroon, from her most recent album Midnights.

This release forms part of an ongoing partnership between Disney and Swift – Disney+ is home to Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions, that Swift starred in, directed and produced.

Back in 2022, it was announced that the Disney owned Searchlight Pictures would produce her feature directorial debut, an as yet unnamed film based on an original script written by Swift.
