Scott Derrickson’s hit movie The Black Phone is getting a physical media release in the UK – just not on 4K disc: more here.
Off the back of a good critical reception, The Black Phone turned out to be quite the success for director Scott Derrickson and producer Jason Blum earlier this year. In fact, Derrickson has given an interview recently where he admits that there may yet be a conversation about some kind of follow up. He’s not, to be clear, confirmed there will be.
What is more certain is that there film is getting its physical media release in the UK in the weeks ahead. There’s no 4K version of this one, but The Black Phone will be available on DVD and Blu-ray over here from October 3rd.
