It finished shooting at the end of 2021, but we won’t be seeing The Expendables 4 until the autumn of 2023: more here.

Now in post-production in the latest chapter in The Expendables saga, that actually wrapped up filming at the end of last year. The original plan was to have it in cinemas in 2022, but that’s now changed. And instead, we learn that The Expendables 4 – as we suspect it won’t be called – is now going to be with us next September.

The UK release date for the film has now been inked in as September 22nd 2023, and the cast this time features 50 Cent, Dolph Lundgren, The Statham, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Randy Couture, Andy Garcia and Sylvester Stallone.

This time around, the script has come from Spenser Cohen and Max Adams, with Need For Speed’s Scott Waugh behind the camera.

No news on plot as of yet, but we’re going to take a stab at it involving some guns and some bad guys. After the softer-rated The Expendables 3, we’re promised too this one won’t be doing that sort of thing again.

More on the film as we hear it.
